Hypothesis

Why the heck am I writing an entire blog on Fair Trade? Because it's that important and I feel like it does not get the recognition that it deserves. During my senior of high school I took a social justice class that changed my life. I had a teacher by the name of Sister Sarah. Through out the semester one of the main topics we focused on was Fair Trade. Sister Sarah opened my eyes to what is really going on in the world. How human beings just like you and I can be forced to work in sweat shops for little to no money, and are forced to live horrible lives. How could we be buying products that were produced by people in sweatshops? It amazed me how I was basically supporting these cruel working conditions by purchasing these products. I really just want to inform people of what is really going on, and how we can actually make a difference in the world.
